About Us

Visit Jericho is a platform dedicated to showcasing everything that’s going on in the enchanting and vibrant neighbourhood just north of Oxford’s city centre, in collaboration with existing initiatives Independent Jericho and the Jericho Trader Association.

From history and culture to places to eat, drink, and get inspired, Visit Jericho’s location directory is created and managed by the community with the aim of increasing visitor numbers to the neighbourhood from near and far, while preserving Jericho’s character, authenticity and independence.

The platform was conceived by local business owners, artists and creative entrepreneurs, and our logo was designed and hand-made by a local artist… we are proud to be a thoroughly local operation.

We currently offer two options for locals who wish to add their businesses or points of interest as locations within our map and directory. With a basic login, locations can be registered and added for free. Opting into a minimal monthly subscription – currently only £5.99 per month – not only supports the running and management of this digital hub, but also comes with additional benefits including:

• Becoming a ‘featured location’ with higher profile visibility across the platform
• Home page promotion
• Upgraded location marker on the location map
• Special mention in our outreach, press and marketing initiatives

Locals and visitors alike are invited to use the platform for free to find prime locations and unique local experiences in Oxford.
