Over the last eight years it has put on over 300 events to tickle the grey matter. Most events are held in the delightful setting of St Barnabas-Church the basilica of Jericho in Cardigan Street. These early evening events range from one on ones with some household names like John Simpson, John Humphrys, Sir Mark Thompson and Peter Hitchens to much more locally focused events like local and national election hustings and one hour conversations with Father Christopher the vicar, Jericho resident Professor Jim Naismith head of all things scientific at Oxford University and others to spectaculars filling the Church such as a Morsefest featuring Abigail Thaw, Sir Philip Pullman in Conversation, the Vice Chancellor and local College Heads of House All the gate money goes to the Church to be used as they see fit-for the food pantry currently and in the past for repair of the clock. In the last fifteen months around £5000 has been raised by My Jericho events.
In addition there are visits organised to local places of interest such as the new Schwarzman Centre, the Blavatnik, the Observatory and the local colleges. Sometimes also to local bars and restaurants.
